The HP2 Sport has been designed with racing components originally developed for its extensive racing program:
· The frame, derived from the R1200S, has been adapted and strengthened to racing
standards.
· The six-speed close-ratio gearbox is equipped with a quickshifter, enabling split-second
clutchless gear changes without easing off the throttle – the first production motorcycle to
be so equipped.
· A lightweight carbon fibre fairing, including a self-supporting seat unit.
· MotoGP-style dashboard
· Forged aluminum wheels
· Brembo brakes with radially mounted calipers
· Specially developed Öhlins front and rear suspension units.

Suzuki makes it five years at the

Suzuki makes it five years at the

For an impressive fifth year running, Suzuki GB ended 2008 as the best performing motorcycle manufacturer in the largest segment of the UK market - the 126cc-and-above category.

With registrations totalling an impressive 14,250 Suzuki not only achieved the most registrations in the 126cc-and-above category, but also managed to top the respective sales charts on several occasions with the GSX-R1000 and DR-Z400SM during 2008.

Suzuki GB General Manager Paul de Lusignan says: "Despite a tough market, we still managed to finish the year as leaders in the largest segment of the market yet again. Thanks to great products, some strong, value-busting offers and a proactive dealer network, we have managed to stay at the top for five consecutive years, which is an impressive feat. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their support, along with our dealer network for their strong service."

Suzuki will be looking to end 2009 in the same market-leading position with two exciting new models heading to the range. The recently launched Gladius 650 will be arriving in Suzuki dealer showrooms later this month, while the stunning all-new GSX-R1000 superbike is set to land in the UK in March.

Ducati Superbike 1098 S Tricolore

The Ducati 'Tricolore' tradition began in 1985 with the stunning 750 F1 and then continued with the limited edition 851. The latest 'Tricolore' is a 1098 S with the additional features of frame and wheels finished in traditional 'racing gold' colours. In addition, a power-increasing 102 dB Termignoni racing muffler kit with dedicated ECU is supplied with the bike. Suspension is of the very highest performance standard. The ‘S’ also sets a new standard for lightweight performance. On any sport or race bike, the most effective area to reduce weight is its “unsprung weight”. The 1098 S is also supplied with the Ducati Data Analyzer system as standard equipment
